Cowgirls, Pokemon and Minecraft Nether update release date announced!

Howdy partner!

Another week's gone by, with some quite interesting news. First of all, the High Noon event on League started Thursday evening, a lot later in the week than I expected. I picked up the mysterious, gun wieldin', demon fightin', rootin' tootin' skin for Senna. Her usual Relic Cannon is transformed into a monumental beast which turns into her demon horse for recalling and Homeguard animation. This skin takes everything I like about High Noon Thresh and makes it bigger and better, I love it.

We also got a new skin for Irelia who's also been invited to the High Noon hoedown. I've not run into her myself yet, but from what I have seen she a fine addition to the cast.

Some High Noon missions have been released alongside the new skins, which award a total of 1,250 Blue Essence and a Hextech Chest and Key, nice little bonus! Full details of the High Noon event here.

Progress-wise, I'm still floating around Gold 4. I've started looking up my team in the lobby and if someone looks liek they can carry I'll go Yuumi (if she's not banned), otherwise I'll go Senna. I'm thinking of playing some tanks so that I can roam and influence the map a little.

There's also a nerf incoming for Yuumi in 10.13. Her Zoomies (heal) is having the flat mana cost reduced, but having a percentage of max mana added to the cost. I'm hoping that building mana regen items should mitigate the issue here, but time will tell.

Since mentioning Pokemon in my last post, I thought I'd hop in and get ready to explore the new area. Little did I know that when I fired up my Switch that the expansion had been released earlier that day, ready and waiting.

I jumped straight on the train and arrived on the Isle of Armor, a whole new open area like the Wild Arena, complete with some new Pokemon, including Rockruff, one of the cutest things I've ever seen in my life!

I've not completely explored the island or completed the story but from the first couple of battles it seems to be about the right level after completing the base game.

Set the date, it's finally here!

On the 23rd of June, which is only Tuesday, the Minecraft Nether Update will be available on Bedrock and Java, yay!

As I mentioned before, I've not played Minecraft properly in a while so I'm really looking forward to get back into the blocky landscape so many of us have sunk hours, days or weeks into.

I'll be doing a playthrough with my brother where we're going to focus on bosses because that's something I've never really done before. I'll also so a solo playthrough and I'll be sure to keep track of progress so I can post it here.

And that's about it! Be sure to let me know on Twitter if there's anything you'd like me to have a look at or talk about.
